    2008 Redline Time Attack

I am curious if anyone here will be participating / competing in the 2008 Redline "Time Attack" event? Or how about the NOPI "Drift competition"? Same weekend, same course, even the "Swimsuit Competition" will appearently be held on the Infield,,,, Big Smile  I am guessing there may be a few spectators....

    Re: 2008 Redline Time Attack

I will be piloting the ShimmySideways STi thanks to P&L Motorsports who is sponsoring me for the event.  The  Nukabe Evo might make an appearance but won't be in the competition this year.

My STi will not have the familiar Cusco livery on for this event.  Check out my website for a rendering of the new livery.  I hear that the MFQ Motorsports/RobiSpec EVO from SoCal driven by Dieter-Heinz will be in attendance.  I predict a new lap record in the Modified class!  Come on out an cheer on the local guys!

Yes.  It was an excellent way to convey the proposed livery to the sponsor.

Nothing like waiting till the last minute to decide! If a large contract comes through I am waiting on then I'll probably run the event. If not then maybe it will be the test day on Friday only. Got to find out if my fuel problem is fixed or not.

The Pro Shop will be open, but I'll be in KC at the divisional.  So, good luck James (and Chris K?)

No, I don't think Chris K is doing the Time Attack.  He'll be at the NASA event running in Time Trial (class TTE) for sure though.

Well it sure was wet yesterday!! It will HAVE to better today. And hopefully perfect Sunday. The day was finally called 30 minutes early because even the Safety Truck was hydro-planning in Turn 4. I have never before been HOPING FOR lightning, which would have been an excuse for getting out of the downpour.
